IFIP Associate membership
Successful EIC members are automatically enrolled as IFIP Associates, giving them access to the IFIP Portal.
When you are ready, you may optionally upgrade to one of the IFIP fellowship grades through a fast-tracked pathway. Existing IFIP Fellows who join the EIC retain their Fellowship grade.

[1] Corporate external partner substitution Corporate partners may nominate external strategic partners for their allocated delegation places at UNESCO-hosted engagements, subject to IFIP selection, security clearance, and event registration deadlines. A core representative of the corporate partner must attend as part of the IFIP delegation.
[2] IFIP membership, sponsorship, and UNESCO engagement Membership and sponsorship are of the IFIP — not of UNESCO. The IFIP holds official engagement with UNESCO, and programme activity may take place at UNESCO-hosted events, but membership or sponsorship confers no membership of, or endorsement by, UNESCO. Sponsor logos are carried on the IFIP website, and sponsors may describe themselves as sponsoring "the work of the IFIP at UNESCO". Benefits for Fellows and other applicants
The same council programme is open to approved IFIP Fellows and to applicants who are not Fellows. How you apply and what you pay differ.
Joining as an IFIP Fellow
Approved Fellows applying as individuals may qualify for significant membership discounts when they apply through the Fellows' portal, including credit for an active paying Fellowship subscription and a loyalty reduction. Individual Fellow rates are subject to a minimum fee of £250 per membership year. Institutional applications from Fellows use the public institutional rates on this page.

Schools, institutions, and practitioners who are not IFIP Fellows apply through the public founding cohort form. Public individual applicants may pay annually or in twelve monthly instalments (same annual total). Institutional membership is annual upfront.

IFIP reflects World Bank economic tiers in council membership fees. Your country determines the tier multiplier applied to the list rates below. Institutional fees also distinguish private or independent organisations from state or government-funded schools and institutions.
